  Jacques Bermon Webster, II (born April 30, 1991), often referred to as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper from America. He is also a singer, songwriter record producer, singer, and songwriter. The stage name he uses is the namesake of his favorite uncle, paired with the name of one of his inspirations, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label contract with Epic Records and a publishing deal with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April 2013, he signed joint-recording contracts with Epic and T.I. Scott also signed a record deal with Epic and T.I. Scott's first long-form project, Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in the year 2013. In 2013 Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. A follow-up mixtape called Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first studio album. It featured the hit track "Antidote". The album that followed called Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first album to reach the top spot on the Billboard 200. Scott released his second album in conjunction with Quavo, Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). The album was the third album he had recorded with Astroworld. Scott also recorded his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which included Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released in the latter half of in 2019 by Cactus Jack Records. It was a top 10 hit on the Billboard 200. Following the release of his single "Franchise", which featured Young Thug and M.I.A., Scott was successful in releasing the album compilation JackBoys. Scott was the first rapper to reach the top spot on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than one year.
